Welcome to Central United Methodist Church!

We hope you find this site to be accessible and helpful as you search for a church home here in Knoxville. We are located in the historic neighborhood of Fourth & Gill, just north of downtown.

There are a lot of exciting things going on in Knoxville as the downtown area has undergone revitalization in the past 15 years. The same can be said about Central.
We invite you to visit with us on a Sunday morning at 10:45 for traditional worship.

There are also plenty of ways in which you can help serve others through ministries such as our food pantry and our work with the Volunteer MInistry Center. Join us as we seek to share the love of God with ALL people here in the heart of the city.

New Sermon Series beginning April 12
"Now What?"
What’s the big deal about the resurrection? What implications are there for our lives? We’re going to explore that between April 12 and Pentecost (May 24). This series will not only help us in our service to Christ, but will also offer guidance on how we live as resurrection people in our workplaces, at home and in our play that reminds us of our call to serve, helps us discover or rediscover our gifts, and where and how to use those gifts!
