Join Us on Sundays

When you come to Central for worship on Sunday mornings, you will experience a vibrant community that is full of life and energy. The Spirit is palpable. We believe worship truly is meant to be shared together. Yes, we do have a choir and soloists who provide music, but we believe singing, praying, reading, sharing in the Sacrament of Holy Communion together is essential to who we are.

During our time of worship, you will experience ancient prayers, time of silence, old and new music, a children’s time, reading from the scriptures, and bold preaching. We strive to bring creativity and a mix of ancient and present practices into our order of worship.

Prior to worship, we have opportunities for small group learning. Those include: Builders Class and Genesis/Wesleyan Class,  as well as occasional short studies. Worship begins at 10:45 in the sanctuary.

Children are welcome at Central! We offer a nursery from birth to Pre-K beginning at 10:30 until worship is over. We offer a children’s time during worship in which the sermon for that day is presented to the children in ways they can understand and connect with. Afterwards, children go with our children’s leaders for a time of learning geared towards their age group. We believe children are full members of our church family and so on communion Sundays they will stay with their families for worship so they may learn about worship and receive Holy Communion. We also provide Sunday School lessons each week via email for families who prefer to do faith formation at home and have their children remain with them to worship as a family.

It is our hope that, through worship on Sundays and by connecting in ministries throughout the week, you not only experience deep connection with our community, but that you will have an encounter with the living God!
